Blue Pony Trail Music was formed in 2005 to produce soundtrack music for the films of Blue Wood Films LLC. Now Blue Pony Trail Music, a division of Blue Wood Films LLC, has signed new recording talent for musical distribution.

In the summer of 2010 owner/producer Oliver Tuthill made the decision to bring on individual musical artists and groups to be distributed under the Blue Pony banner. Tuthill also has his own CD of pop songs titled Acoustic Concerto consisting of songs he wrote and recorded since the 1970s. Tuthill cut his first recording when he was eight years of age and has worked with such well known groups as Styx, Steppenwolf and John Mayall.

His song I Don't Like to Lose performed by Cecil Washington and The Group, of which he was a member, has been released on no less than fifteen record compilations over the last 20 years in the United Kingdom. Available on EMI Records (UK) Northern Soul Anthems, June 2009.

Blue Pony's featured artist is Grammy nominated Shadowyze, a Native American rapper. He won a Native American Music Award in 2001 and has been nominated on three other occasions. He has also has the acclaim of thousands of fans from Hollywood to South America.
